4Play Theatre Company
Over the years 4Play has brought a wide range of plays to the stage, performing at The Courtyard, Leominster Festival, Hereford College of Arts, Gainsborough Studios (London) and even at the Turin Theatre Festival, Italy.

A Number by Caryl ChurchillA young man’s life is suddenly shattered when he discovers that he could be one of a number of genetic clones. Part psychological thriller, part topical scientific speculation, this intense one act play is an analysis of the father - son relationship, revealing the consequences of delinquent parenting during a child’s formative years. A fathers decision to use his son's DNA in order to "get it right" with the next child, puts the nature versus nurture question under the microscope. Set in the near future, Caryl Churchill asks the age old questions of identity, guilt, redemption and revenge. Using humour, sharp observation of human relationship and unabating suspense, this play is exhilaratingly original.
